Towards Multi-perspective Conformance Checking with Fuzzy Sets

Conformance checking techniques are widely adopted to pinpoint possible discrepancies between process models and the execution of in reality. However, state art approaches adopt a crisp evaluation deviations, with result that small violations considered at same level significant ones. This affects quality provided diagnostics, especially when there exists some tolerance respect reasonably violations, hampers flexibility process. In this work, we propose novel approach which allows represent actors' account for severity deviations assessing executions compliance. We argue besides improving allowing assessment also enhances conformance and, indirectly, paves way resilience overall management system.
